Artist Bill Perry recently completed a show of 27 life-size portraits of immigrant women who live in St. Louis, including several clients of Welcome Neighbor STL. Accompanying each portrait is text that tells the woman’s story.

This series of paintings is titled Beauty, Strength, and Courage. These paintings were done to recognize the struggles and achievements of all immigrants, who work hard and endure much to come here, and bring their ambition, dedication, and hope to our country.

Because of covid, these portraits are being launched as an online show, which will be presented in conjunction with a website of the same name. The show will launch on Sunday, September 27, at 12:00 noon.
