Welcome Neighbor STL provides an array of help to Syrians. When Lina Almuallem fled war-torn Syria in 2012 with her husband and three children she knew no English, had no friends and didn’t know how to drive. Now she speaks English well, learned to drive and has a job sewing for a costume company.
